Joni Fuller

Introduced as ‘one young singer who’s about to hit the big time’ during her TV appearance on the BBC Breakfast Show and featured as an ‘Inspirational Teenager’ by The Independent in October 2009, Joni Fuller is an exciting young artist of the moment… and for the future; an eighteen year old singer-songwriter, pianist and rock violinist who is fast catching the eyes and ears of the music industry and audiences alike.

Joni first stepped onto the world music stage at the Casino Barriere during the Montreux Jazz Festival in 2004. Video footage of that performance, solo at a grand piano, shows a 12 year old singer/songwriter, silencing an audience of 3,000 with a spell-binding performance.

Since then, Joni has developed and defined her artistic profile as a songwriter, singer, multi-instrumentalist, arranger and live performer. She has performed extensively in the UK, across Europe and beyond, from festivals in the UK to intimate theatres in Paris and Brussels and stadiums in Germany and Switzerland.

Joni won the Make it Break it Songwriting Contest in both 2008 and 2009 and was featured as an ‘Inspirational Teenager’ by The Independent newspaper in October 2009.  In March 2010 Joni was awarded ‘Best Female Artist’ at the Exposure Music Awards and then featured as ‘One to Watch’ by PRS for Music.

2011 sees a busy schedule of writing, recording and live performances, including an explosive set in the Olympic Stadium, Lausanne during the firework finale of Athletissima 2011 and a string of London and festival appearances.
